Dear Red Dress,
I miss you! You were always snug in the right places. I loved you because you didn’t make me look fat. We complemented each other – my skin tone and your redness were perfect together.
We turned some heads back then. As a new mom, I didn’t think I would turn any heads ever again. I had gotten so used to wearing sweatshirts and jeans. I’m lucky if I could manage to run a comb through my hair. But you made me feel pretty again.
I hope to find another dress like you someday. What are the chances of finding a dress as perfect as you? I’m not sure where you are anymore but I hope somebody loves you as I did.
Love,
Me
This is exactly how I feel about all my pre-pregnancy/mom clothing. I sometimes wonder if I’ll ever be “stunning” again in my eyes, not just Hun’s 🙂
I have had moments since having my last child. Oatmeal creme pies and stress are now the enemy. 🙂 I should find a way to enjoy exercise.
I’m sure that you’ll be stunning 🙂 We need to keep the faith. And keep hydrated and moisturized. It will keep wrinkles away for awhile. 😉
Thanks for the tips, but Most importantly the HOPE! 😀
The moisturizer, water & exercise seem to help the older people that I see daily. 🙂 There is hope! One lady is one hundred years old. I swear she doesn’t look over 88. 😉
