Take a Chance Monday: Flashback Poetry.

It’s time for more flashback poetry, which has been interesting for me anyway. I don’t remember writing this poem at all. I know that I wrote it while I lived in Columbus with Rick Truske. We worked at Lazarus together. I think we were bitter about working on Valentine’s Day. Or we were just bitter period.

Once a Year Love

Lazarus has got love,
But we don’t – not tonight.
Poor Souls.
Holley & Rick have no love.
They’re working tonight

It sucks for the poor luxurious souls
And time goes so slow

When you know
the customers
won’t buy love
for another year.

“Just a small town girl – living in a lonely world.” Concert tickets are practically essential. Musicals are the key to life. I like movies, music, books, and corny jokes.
