What Catch Phrase Do You Say All of the Time: Express Yourself

Lately, I noticed that I say “It’s a good thing that . . . ” For example, “It’s a good thing that Lucas and I didn’t go to the bar last night.” Or “It’s a good thing that my cell phone automatically changed the time.” Seriously, I would have been sooo late to work.
My middle daughter also says this a lot. I wondered why she said it so much until I caught myself saying it all of the time. It’s a good thing . . . It’s a bit like Martha Stewart.

It’s a good thing that I found this Madonna video so we could enjoy it together.

  1. inspiretheworld2day – I am a stay at home mom with two wonderful children and a fantastic husband. I enjoy trying new things, and recently discovered meditation and yoga. My newest love is blogging that helps me stay focused and grounded and most importantly find the humor in everyday occurrences. I am constantly evolving into the new person I'm becoming with each new day, and often stopping to pause for just a moment to take it all in while breathing and taking time to enjoy the ride.

🙂 I didn’t notice until my kid repeated what I said.

Thank god my kids don’t repeat what I say but my daughter does sometimes tweet it out. She’s since blocked me from her twitter

  2. It’s a good thing that … Hi! 🙂
    Fun post.
Because I’m crazy this morning, I thought the image to the left read,
“What Catch Phrase Do you Say All of the Time:
    Express Your
    elf”

And I’m thinking, “Wow, express your elf… someone likes fantasy!”
And then I looked again and saw it was “express yours elf”
And so I wondered if that was an insult in fantasy. ” “Express yours, elf!” The thick-necked warrior spit out.”

And then reality jumped in. “Express Yourself” and my brain suggested coffee.

    LOL
