Have you ever taken a trip by yourself? Do you prefer to travel with people or alone?
In the past, I have flown on a plane by myself. My parents put me on a plane when I was four, almost five, to go visit grandma Pearl in Kansas City. My mom wanted me to tell the stewardess that I was five. I had trouble with telling a little white lie. So I said I was four-five.
Since then I think the rules for minors traveling alone has become more strict.

The last time that I traveled on a plane by myself was in 2000. I went to visit my friend, Cari, in South Dakota. So I traveled to the destination by myself but the rest of the trip was spent in good company. She even made a pink cake for my birthday. It was a lovely trip, except for the bee sting and sleeping on a rock. If you travel with good friends, it can make a huge difference. Good friends might be more understanding of your fear of heights and picky eating. Regular friends might not ever want to see your face again. Thanks Cari! You are a wonderful traveling companion. π
I don’t mind traveling alone but I like having someone to tag along. I need someone to drive over bridges and to play cards with. Unfortunately, I haven’t mastered Solitaire like Grandma Pearl.
