Walk the Line: Daily Post

“If you can’t say anything nice, don’t say anything at all.”

Now I struggle with this one sometimes;however, I do believe that it is important to not say spiteful things to others. There are moments when people need to hear the truth without it being sugarcoated, which is not nice. So the trick is to be nice without calling being mean, calling someone names or yelling. Once words are said, you can’t take them back. When I don’t think I can be civil to someone, it’s time to walk away. Of course, there have been times that I should have walked away faster. Much, much faster. Running would look too obvious I guess.
