I love “Breakfast at Tiffany’s” more than any other movie. If I haven’t put having a bagel at Tiffany’s on the bucket list, I should. First, I’m going to have to find a hat or a tiara. Then I can check off having Breakfast at Tiffany’s off of the list.
It might not be the best movie ever. It does have a lot of things that I love. There is music, fashion, parties, comedy and drama. At some points, it’s cynical about love. Then in the next scene, it’s a little more romantic. It has a drunk lady laughing and crying in the mirror. There have been times when I am the drunk lady in the mirror.
I think I love Holly GoLightly because she is an underdog as far as love. She’s lovely and damaged but she still gets the guy and the cat. She is worthy of love even with all of the baggage. Holly GoLightly is more than the sunglasses, the beautiful jewelry and the hats. Seriously, how does she pull herself together from her mess and look so lovely?
