What are some lies your parents told you?

My mom has only told me little white lies – mostly about the Tooth Fairy and the Easter Bunny. She never tells me that I look good when I don’t. She’s pretty straight up about telling me she doesn’t like my clothes. My mom is not a yes man, which is fine.
I’m not so sure about my dad. I can’t honestly say he’s a liar. There are things that make me suspicious. For example, how did my college money disappear? Poof – it was gone. Was it magic? A fluke? I’ll probably never know. It’s a mystery.
