I'm not Joan Rivers: NaBloPoMo

Have you ever gone back and deleted a whole blog post? Did you admit on your blog that the post was removed?

Never. Never ever. I mean what I say. I haven’t felt the need to delete or apologize for a post that is in poor taste. I’m not Joan Rivers for Pete’s sake. She has doesn’t recognize boundaries. And she’s ruthless. And gaudy. Well, maybe we’re distantly related. I appreciate the gaudiness.
I think I write things that are interesting enough that I don’t have to insult anyone. For the most part, I’m not interested in political or religious discussions. It’s not something that comes naturally to me.
There are some cool pictures of Joan giving photographers the finger. I just couldn’t post them. My kids might see it or your kids. And then I would feel like I should apologize even though I didn’t give you the finger. Joan did it.
On occasion, I might stir the pot. However, I firmly believe in that saying “Those who stir the sh** pot should have to lick the spoon.” So I keep stirring the pot to a minimum. I also don’t give many people the finger in real life either.
Now I question whether I’m interesting at all. Maybe I’ll go practice giving the finger. It would make for a funny picture anyway. If I only I could quit laughing long enough to take a picture. 🙂
Thanks for your patience.

LOL, the other day I got like 7 new followers, very random, so I did go back and password protect 2 posts… but they were about Mr. T, and I was okay with them but tend to be overprotective of him! Otherwise, nope!

    1. I did not know you could password just a few posts – thanks for that tip. I do not need to do that – but good to know. 🙂

Yeah, I had never done it until the other day, but others said it could be done – and it did give me some peace of mind!

Thanks. I have been hesitant about posting a couple posts. But i was glad that I did. Like I didn’t know about the stepmother post I did today. 🙂 Or this post about deleting posts. lol
I’m not judging. 🙂 Everyone had different blogging things. Like some people are jerks on their blogs and probably in real life. Not you and me. just people out there.

  3. I have never deleted an entire post but since I am still learning I will never say never. I will say sometimes which of my posts get the most comments and traffic are sometimes amazing to me. Thanks for sharing-great post.
