What’s the one guilty pleasure you have that’s so good, you no longer feel guilty about it?
I used to feel guilty about shopping without my kids. Then I started to feel guilty about not feeling guilty. When my ex would stay at the bar longer and longer, I felt absolutely no guilty about shopping alone. NONE!
I still don’t feel guilty. It’s so peaceful when I’m by myself. Sometimes I remember everything that I’m supposed to buy. When my kids are there, I can hardly remember three things.
When I shop for shoes with all three girls, I always wish I had taken some sort of anti-anxiety medication. If I’m by myself at the shoe store, life is a little bit like heaven.

Sometimes I feel going to the bathroom is a mini vacation. Unless I forget to tightly latch the door closed and then I have three dogs nosing their way in to keep me company. “No, please come in. I didn’t want 5 minutes alone.” hee hee hee
Yesss! It was like that when the kids were toddlers. 🙂
this is so true – and I will never forget when I was able to shop without the kids in tow – it is totally a different world!!! 🙂 fun post!
It is totally different! I feel like a different, grumpier person at times.
