Dull: WordPress prompt

You encounter a mysterious man offering you a magic
potion that, once sipped, will make one of your senses (sight,
hearing, taste, smell, touch) super sharp — but dull the others.
Will you sip it, and if so, what sense do you choose?

I think I will take a sip because I desperately need sharper vision. Unfortunately, LASIK eye surgery is not an option for me. Darn you corneas! Why do you have to be so short? Who knew that corneas could be too short?! My eye doctor said I wouldn’t be blind by the time I was 40. So far so good – only a few more months to go before that date. I wasn’t so sure but I guess he was right.
If my sense of smell could be dulled that would be great! It would be helpful to have while fixing the compost pile. My neighbors have no room to complain about the compost since their chickens are running the neighborhood. They haven’t quit stalking me yet – the chickens, not the neighbors. I think they are just lonely. So if I don’t have to smell the chickens, maybe we can be friends.

🙂 That’s a good point. What if they took vision instead of smell? Yuck!

Hmmmm…..can we cost different senses for different reasons I different days??

If not, maybe I’d not drink the potion. Yep, I’ll live with what I don’t like to sense, so long add it’s not forever.
