This summer, I want to go white water rafting. It goes against my nature. It looks scary. On the other hand, it looks exciting and fun. When am I going to have the chance to do it again? I live by a lake and small rivers. There are no white water rafting excursions on the Great Lakes that I know of.

I’m going to try River Runners. They have classes for beginners. I definitely qualify for the class. The number is 800-723-8987 or book online at whitewater.net.

After the white water rafting, I will let you know how it goes. Pictures of me and Lucas to follow. I should get a waterproof camera for the event. 🙂

“Just a small town girl – living in a lonely world.” Concert tickets are practically essential. Musicals are the key to life. I like movies, music, books, and corny jokes.

  1. i have done this a couple of times and while it is a bit scary, it is the most fun activity i’ve ever done ) have fun – beth

  2. I haven’t been wwr in a long time, but it’s so much fun! When I was a kid, I fell out of the boat and into a rapid when we went, and it was a combination of frightening and amusing–and so very much fun.

I’m not a thrill-seeker, really, but this is a very good sort of thrill. Hope you have a blast! 🙂

  3. River Runners is such a cool name. It evokes all kinds of fun in my overactive imagination. Hope you have a blast Holley and that we get to read about your experience – complete with photos from that waterproof camera 🙂

  4. I used to wwr with a group of friends twice a year – once in the summer when the river was slower and once in the late fall when it was cold and tough and crazy. The summer trip always made the best memories. Have fun!
