Little Sister #1 has been asking Grandma to knit a toy animal for her. She is relentless.

Grandma does not have the pattern or the material. Both of those concerns are easy fixes. She also doubts whether she can knit an animal that well. A toy is much more complicated endeavor than a scarf.

The easy solution for Grandma would be to buy the toy on Etsy. There are toy animals and dolls already finished. It would take less time to order and wait for it to arrive than to wait on Grandma to knit it.

It’s nice that someone has time to still make handmade toys.
