Yurt McGurt: Bucketlist Goal Completed

Greetings from Big Soda Lake!

Lucas and I spent the night in a yurt. We almost could not find the campground since we arrived close to midnight. Thank goodness we finally found our yurt!

We didn’t really notice anything about the yurt, except that we had bunk beds. At that point, we would have slept almost anywhere. We might have even bunked with the wild life that was staying just outside of the doorway.

In the morning, we woke up to a really beautiful area. We still wish that we lived somewhere with a cool name like Big Soda Lake. It sounds like something that could have been in Candyland. Very happy and sweet!

“Just a small town girl – living in a lonely world.” Concert tickets are practically essential. Musicals are the key to life. I like movies, music, books, and corny jokes.

  1. Kate @ Did That Just Happen? – I'm an just over 40, single mother of a wonderful teenage boy, who is an endless source of wonder and laughs and gray hair. I may have a small life, but it's full to the brim, and frequently I just have to stop and ask myself "Did that just really happen??" Enjoy!
