Do you really think we’re doomed to repeat mistakes if we don’t remember them?

Yes. Yes, I do. For example, if I would happen to forget about my unfortunate track record with relationships, I would still be looking for love in all the wrong places.

I was thinking about this the other day. While driving around town, I saw this cute guy in a beat up truck. He totally would have been my type about seven years ago – a little rough around the edges. I laughed to myself. Then I thanked God that I’m not single and don’t have to chase around boys anymore.

  1. Kate @ Did That Just Happen? – I'm an just over 40, single mother of a wonderful teenage boy, who is an endless source of wonder and laughs and gray hair. I may have a small life, but it's full to the brim, and frequently I just have to stop and ask myself "Did that just really happen??" Enjoy!
