Do you find it more helpful to talk things out or let things quietly rest?
Well, I would rather remain silent. If I never had to talk about feelings ever again, I would be okay with that.
However, it’s healthier to get feelings out before you’re in a dark pit of despair. Whenever I don’t get the emotions expressed, I feel like there is a cloud hanging over my head. Then before you know it, depression has set it. Ask anyone who has suffered from depression, it stinks and is no fun at all.
So as much as I would like to stay quiet, it’s better to express feelings.
