Share Your World: Week 40

You’re given $500,000 dollars tax free (any currency), what do you spend it on?

1. Buy a house
2. Buy a car
3. Send my mom a well-deserved vacation

What’s the finest education?

Life Experience has been the best teacher.

What kind of art is your favorite? Why?

I like paintings. I like paintings that are pretty but not too pretty. The paintings by Fab Ciraolo fit the bill.

Is there something that you memorized long ago and still remember?
There are not many things that I can remember. I can’t remember the Gettysburg Address. I can’t remember how many pints are in a quart or even if that’s possible.
I do remember one song about how black socks never get dirty. I could sing it for you now …

But how about a picture of me and Blake Shelton instead? He sings for a living.

Bonus question: What are you grateful for from last week, and what are you looking forward to in the week coming up?
I can’t remember last week. It’s all a blur. I’m looking forward to Halloween activities from now until Nov. 2.

“Just a small town girl – living in a lonely world.” Concert tickets are practically essential. Musicals are the key to life. I like movies, music, books, and corny jokes.

  1. Kate @ Did That Just Happen? – I'm an just over 40, single mother of a wonderful teenage boy, who is an endless source of wonder and laughs and gray hair. I may have a small life, but it's full to the brim, and frequently I just have to stop and ask myself "Did that just really happen??" Enjoy!
