Game of Thrones: A Dance with Dragons

It’s a miracle. Well, okay maybe not a miracle exactly but I have finished reading “Game of Thrones: A Dance with Dragons.” It’s a minor accomplishment at any rate.

Last week, I was off work due to my knee injury. So it seemed like a good time to finish the book.

I put off some blog posts in order to read for a few minutes. A few minutes usually turns into a few hours but I had nothing but time last week.

I  read until the words didn’t make any sense on the page and subsequently fell asleep. So I tried to bookmark it until the next day. It’s possible that I missed the right page once or twice.

Anyway . . . I’ll be over here waiting for book six in the series. The word is that we will all be waiting an undetermined amount of time. So there will be plenty of time to catch up on the television series, right?!

P.S. Game of Thrones just favorited my tweet. Another minor accomplishment in the bag today. 🙂

“Just a small town girl – living in a lonely world.” Concert tickets are practically essential. Musicals are the key to life. I like movies, music, books, and corny jokes.

  1. Kate @ Did That Just Happen? – I'm an just over 40, single mother of a wonderful teenage boy, who is an endless source of wonder and laughs and gray hair. I may have a small life, but it's full to the brim, and frequently I just have to stop and ask myself "Did that just really happen??" Enjoy!

Haven’t watched it (yet) haven’t read the books, can’t decide if I should read or watch or both or neither – but I’m glad that you are enjoying it – and love that they favorited your tweet!! 🙂
