Oh My Glob! This doll is so high maintenance. Somewhere some Monster High doll designer is laughing at all of the parents that have to put together this doll on a daily basis. She has two faces, wings and a wig. There are more parts and clothes than I’ve ever seen a doll have in one box. I’ve already stepped on the sunglasses. How did they get in the kitchen anyway?
The box says that the doll changes from Fearfully Feisty to Fangtastic Love. Apparently, this is one moody doll. She’s probably a lot of fun at a concert. Or running away from the Mob or whoever.
Did I mention the killer heels? I think I pulled a muscle trying to get them on her feet.
Ergh, I find myself reading this thinking, I hope my daughter doesn’t like Monster High dolls when she’s older! She’s only 2 at the moment but I fear it’s only a matter of time! I love the photo on the side of your blog, it’s gorgeous. Excellent tutu!

How about flapping-winged fairy Barbies? Brittle plastic wings that snap off at the slightest provocation, tiaras that don’t fit and long strappy sandals that fall off every five minutes. And don’t even get me started on the bloody mermaids…
