This morning I did not want to get out of bed. My muscles and joints were saying “No more exercise. We ache.” My mind was saying, “Maybe just meditate. But get out of bed you lazy girl.”
I did find a nice video with meditation and stretches from Yogi Nora. I really enjoy her videos. She is very encouraging. Yogi Nora said that it’s not a competition to see who is the fastest. She just wants everyone to try their best. So that’s what I did today. It’s nice that she gives options for those of us who are not as flexible or have bad knees.
I think I could do the dragon pose by the end of the year.
FYI: I think I have lost a couple pounds. Just sayin’. It’s a combination of Yoga, drinking more water and not eating junk food. There is still a long road ahead to getting in shape but I’m on the way.
