30 Day Yoga Challenge: Day 30 . . . Heck Yeah

It is officially time to celebrate! I made it to day 30 of the 30 Day Yoga Challenge. It still counts if I took two days off doesn’t it?

At the beginning of this challenge, my body was so out of shape. I had not really exercised in many years. My diet was horrible.

After I started to diet and do yoga, I realized how much junk I ate and how often.

So here we are at day 30. I feel like I’m not so out of shape. Of course, there is still work to do on the working out. I can’t do a headstand. Yet!

I don’t drink nearly as much pop. The junk food level has decreased by about 90 %. I don’t know if that’s the correct number but it’s pretty close.

The good news is that I’ve lost 10 lbs. I haven’t been this weight since 2007. That is a long time to be overweight and out of shape.

This video was on Pinterest this morning. When I say morning, I mean early afternoon. My sleep habits are next on the list of health issues to fix.

My newest love is blogging that helps me stay focused and grounded and most importantly find the humor in everyday occurrences. I am constantly evolving into the new person I'm becoming with each new day, and often stopping to pause for just a moment to take it all in while breathing and taking time to enjoy the ride.
