The theme for Type-A Parent’s monthly blog challenge is “Focus.” One of the exercises is to make a diagram or print the one they have.

The point is to discover your sweet spot – or what the focus of your blog should be. The sweet spot should combine the things you love, the things you excel at and the things that make money.
It didn’t take me too long to discover what the focus of my blog should be. I think I already knew but it’s nice to know I’m on the right track.
The things that I love are photography, music and writing.
The things the I’m good at are photography, interviews and writing.
So I have discovered that I need to figure out how to turn all of this information into a profit. Due to some of WordPress’ rules, bloggers are limited in what they can and cannot do as far as ads or making money from their blog.
I would advise checking out the rules before you do anything crazy. I look at it once in awhile just to refresh my memory.
