Blog Connections: #NaBloPoMo

What do you think makes people connect with a post or a blog in general?

blog connections

Excellent question. I think blogs that people connect with are either funny, beautiful or have information that people didn’t know that they needed. Really great blogs have a combination of humor, beauty and information.

I would like to find a blog about women buying cars and other stuff that is funny and informative. If anyone knows of a blog like that, let me know. I wonder if I could be that blogger. Hmmmmm. . . maybe.

One of the best blogs -that almost everyone loves-is Rarasaur. I find links to her blog all over the internet. People that don’t know each other at all love Rarasaur. Unfortunately, she is on hiatus. Her husband, Grayson, was managing the site but he has passed away.

What is it that people love about Rara? Personally, I think her writing is brilliant. She makes you feel like she is talking just to you. It’s a combination of the writing and her personality. She’s very gifted.

I hope she will be back soon.

  1. Connected with many diverse people and I have diverse interests myself. But seems everyone can enjoy my cartoons. Must be a relief from all the complicated matters of life.

  2. I enjoyed this. I find myself attracted to blogs where the personality of the author shines through

  3. Rara covered a bunch of topics, from silly to serious, but most importantly she interacted with her commenters and readers. Sure, times get busy and sometimes we can’t respond to everything, but that is one of the biggest things I think…that conversation that starts with us blogging and others reading. I’ll follow other blogs based on the comments and conversations they have on other blogs I read, not necessarily because they follow me. 🙂

    1. Yes. I totally agree! 🙂

  4. I had no idea that Rara’s husband passed away. Oh my!

    1. Very sad. It was a few months ago.
