Is it my Destiny to be a Superhero Princess?

Do you believe in fate or do you believe you can control your own destiny?

Destiny. Destiny. Destiny.

I firmly believe that I can control my own destiny. I’m still not a superhero princess. Are we sure that isn’t my destiny? I should work on that. .

I named this blog after destiny for gosh sake. I’m still chasing destiny with fancy words. Destino is fancier than destiny.

This week, I hear that little voice that says “You don’t have to post anything anywhere else if you don’t want to. If people don’t like it, then too bad for them. Maybe it’s not your destiny to be over there. Maybe you should be right here.”

I don’t have to define myself by where I’ve been published. It’s probably what people see and that’s ok. I put myself out there.

I thought it would change things somehow. It helped a little but I don’t feel very satisfied at the moment about other writing platforms.

Do you guys hear that voice? Right now, mine is saying that it’s time to revamp a few things. It’s time to refocus.

It is not my destiny to do what people want me to do. I don’t think it’s in my nature. I’d like to get back to that ASAP.

Yeah. I suppose you are right. 🙂

  1. reocochran – I am experiencing crazy and hapless adventures in dating that may interest people over fifty. I am now 65 this year (2017) and enjoy taking photographs, incorporating stories or poetry on my blog. I have many old posts which are informative and written like essays. I have several love stories collected from family and friends. Even strangers spill their stories, since I am a grown version of the girl next door. I have been trying to live a healthy lifestyle with better food selections and active hiking and walking. I have written four children's books and illustrated them. They are not published but a battered women's shelter used one about neglect and abuse for their children's program and a 4H group used my "Kissing a Bunny is like saying a Prayer" as a coloring book. Please comment or respond so I may get a chance to know you. Sincerely, Robin

I believe in God who got the whole thing “started” and we are in charge of most things except disease and accidents. God does not create pain. It is part of how we came from our fall from Grace. There us my belief in a nutshell. Wish my special souk mate would come into my life but it may be I have to have my eyes open to him 🙂
