It is still true. I still want to live my life with no regrets. I don’t want to say, “I coulda been somebody. I coulda been a contender.”
Today someone told me that I resemble a movie star. I laughed because I was in my scrubs and my hair was a hot mess. It’s my daily look – navy scrubs and hair falling out of the hair clip. She meant a specific movie star. I knew the one.
This one.
I’m probably not going to be a movie star or famous. It could happen but the movie star thing is not likely.
I wonder if I could change the name to “Free Winona.” Just kidding. The name is staying for a little while longer.
If I make a difference in the world, then I’ve done my job – not just my actual factual job, the big picture job too. I just want to do something awesome.
However, writing a post about how Jack Black and Jack White should form a band is not going to cut it. (They would be like the Odd Couple of Rock and Roll.It would be glorious.)
I could totally dress up like this guy for Halloween or a lip-synch video contest. Do they have those? We could be twinsies. I think we wear the same eyeliner.
“Feeding Squirrels On My Way To Work” – At the time I started blogging, I was literally feeding squirrels on my way to work. It’s a metaphor for my car-free commute.
“Adrift On The Shore” – The neighborhood I live in is nicknamed “The I-5 Shores”. I don’t update this blog anymore.
“Amazing And Ordinary” – I was desperate for a name.
