Interview with . . . Attic Salt

The definition of Attic Salt is “refined incisive wit.” Although the band Attic Salt denies being refined, I suspect that they have an abundance of wit.

They may also hold the record for the shortest replies during one of these interview things. Still, they say a lot without saying much – sort of like Animal from the Muppets. It’s cool. Animal is awesome, just like Attic Salt’s drummer, Fred Malcom, who played this round of Twenty Questions.

Have you ever had a house with an attic?

Sure have.

Do you guys have a refined incisive wit?

Nothing is refined about us.

Is there anything that would keep you from doing a show?

Plenty of things.

What is something that people should visit when they are in Springfield?

Keep driving. Nothing to see here.

Have you ever been to Pouzza Fest before?

Nope, never before.

What’s the most punk rock thing that you’ve ever done?

No idea. We aren’t very punk rock.

What mode of transportation do you take while on tour?

A van.

Do you have any plans for the summer?

Practice shows and sweat.

Where was your first show?

A tiny apartment above a garage.

Let’s say you’re planning your last show – when you’re much older- what do you want it to be like?

Free drinks for the band.

“Just a small town girl – living in a lonely world.” Concert tickets are practically essential. Musicals are the key to life. I like movies, music, books, and corny jokes.
