Sleep Deprived Music Review: Talos

Talos’ album Wild Alee is one of those albums that can sell itself. You don’t need me to tell you that it’s beautiful, breathtaking and dreamy. You just need someone to tell you that this album exists and you should but it.

Talos is from Ireland. I love his voice so much that I would paddleboard or sail across the ocean to see him play live. Of course, I could just wait until he crosses the ocean.

My favorite song on the album is “Your Love is an Island.” Several of his songs have nautical themes. It’s like he’s a sailor speaking to my mermaid heart.

Do you know what alee is? The dictionary says that alee is:

  • adverb, adjective Nautical.
  1. upon or toward the lee side of a vessel; away from the wind (opposed to aweather).

So until it’s possible to take off in my own little sailboat, I’ll listen to his album on Spotify. I recommend that everyone do the same.
