Sleep Deprived Music Review: L.A. Witch

Once in awhile my kid asks me if I’m a good witch.  I wonder if L.A. Witch ever gets that question from their fans. I don’t think they would be necessarily good or bad. From what I’ve read, they aren’t witches at all.

They are pretty badass though.

They released a self-titled album in 2017. L.A. Witch describes their sound as “REVERB-SOAKED PUNKED OUT ROCK.” It’s a pretty accurate description. My personal favorite song on the album is “Get Lost.”

I like their sound – it’s punk rock but a little more dark and haunting. Imagine if Wednesday Addams was in a garage band and also writing the lyrics. L.A. Witch is as close to that as possible.
