Sleep Deprived Music Review: Cristina Vane

The title of Cristina Vane’s last EP is the story of my life – Troubled Sleep.

If Vane and I were best friends, we’d probably take our motorcycles across the country. We’d be Thelma and Louise, except with motorcycles and guitars.

It’s just wishful thinking but this music is perfect for a road trip with your bestie. I don’t even have a motorcycle. I’m more interested in paddleboarding or kayaking.

I wonder what the odds are of taking a boombox on a paddleboard. I could play this album while crossing a lake.  Would it be easier if I had a bestie that could play guitar while we paddled down the river? We’d have to waterproof everything . . .

Am I even awake right now? Am I doing a non-review review again? Sometimes it’s just easier to tell you the impression that the album gives me. The impression tells me that we should go out west and soak in the blues wherever we can.

Make sure you check out Cristina Vane – either a live show or her music that is online. I don’t think I can paddle to her shows out west in time. Now that would be an adventure.

  1. Really enjoyed the article and the music. Well done, indeed!

  2. I like it! I like the drummer too ;-))

    1. Is it the beard? 🙂 There’s probably a handsome face underneath. He still looks cool no matter what.

      1. The whole package. Guess I’ve just come out to you lol.

      2. Well, that’s a first. So welcome to my team I guess. If I would’ve known, I would’ve ordered something fancy to celebrate. 🙂
