Interview with . . . Madison Ryan

Have you ever had the same name as anyone? How confusing would it be if two talented singers have really similar names? OMG – it’s so confusing!

After doing some research on Madison Ryan, I realized that there is another singer with a very similar name. They are not the same person. Neither have gone through several name changes like John Cougar Mellencamp.

So let’s get to know what makes Madison Ryan her own person.

How many times a day to people confuse you with Madison Ryann Ward?

ALL THE TIME. She’s an amazing artist though so it’s cool at the same time. Maybe someday we’ll play a show together!

What is something that you do in general that probably no one else does?

I watch an excessive amount of HGTV. Probably to an unhealthy point if I’m honest.

What are you paranoid about?

I’m paranoid about pretty much everything, I’m a huge hypochondriac! To narrow it down though, I’m always convinced there’s a spider on me.

Where was your first show? Either as a fan or a performer.

My first show as a fan was at Hershey Park Stadium and it was a Jonas Brothers Concert. It was the best day of my life to say the least!

Do you have any frenemies?

I wouldn’t say I have any frenemies. I try my best to be kind to everyone always. I believe there are people who dislike me and what I do but at the end of the day, I still wish them the best in life and it doesn’t even matter what they think.

What do you want people to know about you?

I’m a very determined person. I know what I want, when I want it, and how I’m going to get it. Creating music, or art, or whatever it may be is my escape from the world. I also love being around people, and I like to think that I am able to find a friend in every person I meet.

Have you been on tour yet?

Not yet, but hopefully this year will be the year!

Are you an introvert or an extrovert?

I’d say I’m a bit of both. It really depends on the situation. When I’m not playing music I’m more of an introvert but when I’m in the zone at a show or something I’m definitely an extrovert.

If you’re not on stage, where do you like to be?

If I’m not on stage, I like to be out and about exploring different places and having fun. I have to constantly be doing something with my time or I go insane.

What has been the highlight of your summer so far?

The highlight of my summer so far was playing SummerFest in Milwaukee and winning the Emerging Artist Series contest of the day!

“Just a small town girl – living in a lonely world.” Concert tickets are practically essential. Musicals are the key to life. I like movies, music, books, and corny jokes.

  1. Teagan Riordain Geneviene – Body in one place -- mind usually in another – I started the blog, Teagan's Books, as part of my “grand experiment” in indie publishing. However, this blog has come to be quite dear to me. As an indie author, I share and promote the books of others as well as my own. My published works are epic fantasy, urban fantasy, and mysteries touched with magic. Most are set in other eras, probably because I never really felt at home in my own time. I hope you'll stop by, read something, enjoy it, and leave a note saying hello. http://teagansbooks.wordpress.com/about/ Also check out my Amazon Author Page. relinks.me/TeaganRiordainGeneviene
