The Uppers and Downers LP by Gold Star is out today. It’s been a busy day and I almost forgot. Shameful, I know. So before I forget to tell you, listen to this album as soon as you can.
The thing that I love about this album is that Gold Star writes his own music and puts it all out there for the world to hear. It’s honest and reflective. There are ups and downs in the music – just like there are in real life.
I don’t love every album that I review. I can’t pick a favorite because every song is awesome in it’s own way. This album makes me want a cigarette because it’s so good.
