Sleep Deprived Music Review: Lily DeTaeye

Maybe I discovered Lily DeTaeye on Twitter. It’s too hard to say for sure. The point is that she is on the radar now. If you like Indie/Folk singers, then you will love Lily DeTaeye. Besides having a great singing voice, DeTaeye plays the piano, guitar, and ukulele.

Her EP “The EP,” came out in 2017. She writes her own songs. It’s awesome that people still do that. Let’s hope that she’ll come out with a new album sooner than later. It would be a shame if she didn’t keep making music.

Until then, you can probably catch DeTaeye’s live show if you are in the Des Moine, Iowa or Moline, Illinois area. FYI: Iowa has one of the most beautiful capitol buildings. Trust me. My parents took me to so many capitol buildings when I was young. I’m practically an expert.

So there are two things worth seeing in Iowa: Lily DeTaeye and the capitol building in Des Moine.

  2. I pretty much stopped writing on my blog, Holley! I just wanted to personally thank you for your likes and touching base with me from time to time.
I will stop by and say a few words also since blogging from 2012 to last month really is part of my built in habits. Take care, my friend. <3

    1. Aww. Thank you so much! <3 I've been trying to stay in contact with old friends and new ones. I went through a short period of not doing much on the blog and decided to get back into it.

      1. I think breaks are great and you may need them. I certainly have been working in a new field and need time to learn and grow.
You’re so welcome and hope I will be better at staying in touch. ❤️ Take care, Holley and happy Fall season! 🌻🍁🌾
