I could spend all day watching Red Hot Chili Peppers videos. At some point in my life, I probably have spent a crazy amount of time listening to or watching the Red Hot Chili Peppers.
They became extremely popular while I was in high school. There weren’t any other bands that were like them. There were decent bands around – U2, REM, Nirvana – but none of had the same energy.
When my first kid was about a year old, she loved rockin’ out to the Red Hot Chili Peppers in her high chair. That’s when I knew she and I would be alright.
They are still one of my favorite bands. If I had to be stuck on a deserted island with a band, I would pick the Red Hot Chili Peppers.
