The only time that I’ve ever been reprimanded by security was when Body Count was on stage. I was walking up the stairs and turned and stopped. Who can blame me? Ice-T was on stage with Body Count. I could not look away. They were on fire – metaphorically speaking.

Apparently, I was not supposed to stop and stare. It’s a fire hazard for people to stand or sit on the stairs. We were at Red Rock Amphitheater in Colorado, which has stadium seating and no mosh pit.

They still bring the noise, funk and enough anger. They aren’t for everybody but I enjoy them. Obviously – or I would not have been tempted to tell that security guard to shove it.

Ice-T is 60 years old and he still gives 100% on stage. You’ve got to give him credit. Most people are ready to settle down – watch tv and take a nap.
