Tsunami Bomb has an incredible amount of energy. I wonder how much coffee they drink. Do they even get their energy from coffee? Maybe they get revived whenever someone listens to their music. It would explain why I don’t have any energy and why I keep listening. They’ve cast a spell on me.
They are releasing their album, The Spine That Binds, on November 8. It has been 15 years since they have released an album.
Tsunami Bomb is definitely punk rock. I can’t think of any one band that they sound like. It is cool that they have more than one female singer. It doesn’t seem like they are trying to fight for the lead. Whatever they are doing, they make it work.
My favorite song on the album is “Tidal.” “Lullaby for the End of the World” is also pretty good.
Tsunami Bomb was created in 1998 in Petaluma, California. They’ve been on again/off again with different lineups. Currently, the band is together.
