Meet and Greet: El Perro del Mar

Who: El Perro del Mar of Sweden

What: All of the songs from El Perro del Mar seem to be lovely and sometimes heartbreaking. Her latest single is a cover of Burt Bacharach’s “Please Stay.”

Why: El Perro del Mar is quoted as saying, “It’s been on my mind for some time and when working on this album that’s all on dark matters I came to think about what would happen to the song if its original meaning of love and heartbreak was to be about death and the pleadings of having someone not die or return from the dead.”

I could be the worst cook in America. My boyfriend tells his friends about my cooking disasters. I'm glad someone is amused. I like movies, music, comic books and corny jokes.
