Iglu & Hartly has released a new song after a 10-year break. The song is about being cooler. It’s called “Cooler.” There is also a funny video for “Cooler” with an actual cooler. So Jarvis Anderson of Iglu & Hartly might be cooler than he used to be but not too cool to visit the blog for an interview.
There are some advantages to aging like wisdom, senior citizen discounts and confidence. It’s not that we are as super stylish as some but we don’t care what other people think anymore. Certain people are probably cooler than they used to be.
Please welcome Iglu & Hartly to the blog!

Interview
Where have you been staying in 2020?
Los Angeles, Ca. Echo Park area specifically
What have you been doing during times of quarantine?
Lots of stuff! Finishing the upcoming Iglu & Hartly EP of course, skateboarding and biking a lot.
Have you found or re-found any hobbies?
Yes actually started skateboarding again and I love it. Used to do it a lot back in the day but its just as fun now! Love any activity that has freedom of motion and flow. Im big into feeling free.
What have you been listening to lately?
Lots of new music. Some artists I have on repeat right now are: The New Twenties, Salem, Mishcatt, Lauren Sanderson, Molly Moore, Kenny Carkeet…
Has your songwriting process changed this year?
This year I decided to stop overthinking the process so much and let songs flow and grow naturally in the writing phase. Really had a “Does it feel natural?” rule. I also returned to a lot of songs from the past that I’ve always considered to be my best. Some of those are slowly transforming into Iglu & Hartly songs.
Is there any message that you would like to convey to fans or soon-to-be fans?
Music is the biggest gift in life and we would be honored to be listened and enjoyed by you. Come chat with us on IG @igluandhartly
What is something positive that has happened to you during 2020?
I think the biggest positive thing would be the birth of my daughter just a couple weeks ago! Coming in a respectable 2nd place is the release of “Cooler”, our first song in over 10 years!
