Last week, we went to see Living Colour. It was the first show that I have been to since . . . according to Instagram, last October. The other show was fairly small and plenty of space so social distancing was possible.

It’s been so long since I’ve seen so many people in one place with very few masks. Lots of smiling, drinking, etc. Every few feet, someone greeted my boyfriend. He knows a lot of people. So when I saw a friend, it was exciting to know one person that he didn’t know.

We walked around looking for the rooftop bar. Thank goodness for Google Maps. We finally found it! I forgot to bring the good camera. Fingers crossed for better pictures next time.

I can’t say that I felt like a Mean Girl at this concert. Of course, there were drunk people who are weird when they drink. We almost saw a showdown between some Karens and some Hippies. It was kind of entertaining. We had a decent spot. Of course, we are still short so there’s always that thing with seeing the show behind tall people. Typical and not a big deal.

If you get the chance to see Living Colour, please go. They are a great live band. Hopefully, they will get the credit they truly deserve soon. It was funny to see young people crowd the stage during “Cult of Personality.” I imagine that they were thinking “Hey, I know this song!”

Anyway, just remember that Living Colour is not the same thing as In Living Color. Living Colour is a band, popular in the 90s. In Living Color is a television show, popular in the 90s. Does anyone know if Living Colour was ever on In Living Color?

“Just a small town girl – living in a lonely world.” Concert tickets are practically essential. Musicals are the key to life. I like movies, music, books, and corny jokes.
