A million years ago, I was a resident of Columbus, Ohio. Several times a year, I make it back to the area. So I thought I would share some cool places to visit if you are in the area.
Cool places
North Market

North Market is a public market close to the downtown area. It has so many vendors. You’ll find a variety of food and wine.
Short North Gallery Hop– 1st Saturday of every month.
The Gallery Hop was one of my favorite things to do in town.
The Columbus Zoo is open year-round. If you get a chance to visit during the Christmas season, the lights at the zoo are awesome.
Over the years, I have seen a handful of shows at The Ohio Theater. It has a special place in my heart.
Coming Soon:
The Ginger Rabbit – Jazz bar coming soon to the area.
The Galaxy Coffee – Columbus’s first LGBTQ coffee truck will be opening soon. For now, you can buy merch at their online store.
A few things I wish were still open:
Victorian’s Midnight Cafe – Favorite coffee shop. I think it was a laundromat at one time.
Barrister Hall – Jazz club. It was probably my favorite bar.
Andy’s Tree House – Coolest bar.
