Poetry Maybe #35: Unmusical

Photo by Oleg Magni on Pexels.com

observe the powerful storm

within a body

of self-destruction

we scold
those already shivering
from unequaled carnage

do the feral blue-eyed see

unbiased and honorable codes

in the same way as tiger’s eye

someday the pianist

will renew
the pleasure he brings

with 88 keys and

tuxedo trousers
front stage grand piano
grow from this current

dangerous misunderstood

spotlight

into

the splendid illumination

that coils around the world.

curvy
fumbling with
wild intensity

to be heard

Poetry Maybe

“Just a small town girl – living in a lonely world.” Concert tickets are practically essential. Musicals are the key to life. I like movies, music, books, and corny jokes.
