Pride Month Book Tag

Happy Pride Month!

While looking for a book tag that would be appropriate for Pride Month, I found a great book tag on Cody Levi’s blog The Bookworm in Me. Since participating in the Book Riot Read Harder Challenges, I have read more books with LGBT+ characters or by LGBT+ authors. Kudos to the authors! I’m proud of you!

So I am also glad to have a more inclusive list of books on the already read list and the TBR list. No regrets.

Everyone is welcome to participate in the book tag. Please tag Cody Levi and I so that we can see your answers.

1. A book with a gay main character

Nancy is asexual. Kade is transexual. Neither fit the role that other people want. They are who they are and like themselves.

2. A book with a lesbian main character

Gilda is a lesbian vampire. She might be one of my favorite characters in literature.

3. Favorite LGBT+ side couple

In Walks with Spirits, Two Rivers Running finally finds love. It was one of my favorite things to happen in the book.

4. A book with an asexual lead

Calinthe is asexual and a fascinating character in Merchants of Knowledge and Magic.

5. A book with a trans lead

This book is on my TBR list.

6. A book about family

It’s going on the TBR immediately!

7. Most recent LGBT+ book you’ve read

Currently reading – Queerly Beloved

8. Book on your TBR that you haven’t gotten to yet

The rumors are that this book is awesome. I cannot wait to read it.

9. Most anticipated LGBT release of 2022

Our Wives Under the Sea

10. Favorite LGBT+ book of all time

The Color Purple is one of my all-time favorite books and movies of any genre or category.

“Just a small town girl – living in a lonely world.” Concert tickets are practically essential. Musicals are the key to life. I like movies, music, books, and corny jokes.
