second-hand traveler
thought
 he could hide
behind clocks
 of birch
and clouds

damaging every love
letter and
branch that bared
truthful violets

He appeared

on the trail
of loud roots

wandering from protests
with line of
scorched trees
declaring
 the traveler to be
honorable and accepted
but not popular

Poetry Maybe

“Just a small town girl – living in a lonely world.” Concert tickets are practically essential. Musicals are the key to life. I like movies, music, books, and corny jokes.
