Poetry Maybe #48: Sour Glitter

They’re so needy
There’s no one more

important than she

What direction did
they scream their
blessings and curses

frog temples

all rot into

worthlessness

Their store
was protected by
birds and a gun

desperate sinners
lick the toad

every where they look

it is sour glitter
for a party of one

dine at your own peril

Vintage designer jeans
now lay

abandoned
in a stream

“Just a small town girl – living in a lonely world.” Concert tickets are practically essential. Musicals are the key to life. I like movies, music, books, and corny jokes.
