In honor of Black History Month, let’s do a Black History Month Book Tag. I found the tag on Life of a Female Bibliophile. The original post can be found on books by leynes YouTube Channel.
Everyone is welcome to participate. Don’t forget to tag Life of a Female Bibiliophile, books by leynes and myself so that we can see your responses.
What is a book everyone should be reading during Black History Month? (give one fiction and one nonfiction title)
It was hard to choose just one. I think that either of these books would be a good place to start.
Which Black Booktuber would you recommend watching and why?
Ashley from Bookish Realm is brilliant and funny.
What is your favorite book written by a Black author from an African country?
Nnedi Okorafor’s Akata Witch is the closest book that I have on the bookshelf that answers the question. Okorafor is Nigerian-American.
What is your favorite Black classic?
Beloved is one of my favorite books of all time.
Which movie / book-to-movie-adaptation / documentary would you recommend watching during Black History Month?
I’m going to watch it again this month.
