Tell us about your latest project:

The self titled single from our second EP ‘The Altar’, out 7th April.  ‘The Altar’ is told through the lens of an atheist considering jilting their partner in marriage to be, that in an act of desperation turns for guidance to a god he doesn’t believe in.  this is really a song about facing huge life changes. We wanted to capture where our minds can go when faced with something totally new – and how irrational our thought processes can be. Despite the anxieties expressed through the tracks lyrics, it’s a rather upbeat, lighthearted tune though.

Where was your first concert as a fan? As a performer?

My first gig was to see ‘Scars On Broadway’ at Manchester Academy. I’d had a broken nose that had been taped up due to a football incident the day before… As a performer our first proper gig at the age of 15 was to support John Cooper Clarke in Stockport with the Rap metal outfit ‘The Mighty Gigolos’…

What is the secret to writing good music?

Don’t overthink it and let you ear take you where it yearns to go

Do you have a bucketlist? If so, what’s on it?

To come first in a chicken wing eating contest

What was the last thing that you read?

The Wasp Factory – Iain Banks

What are you listening to at the moment?

Tea for the Tillerman – Cat Stevens. Old school but timeless!

If you weren’t a musician, what would you be doing?

Making money!

Who would you like to collaborate with in the future?

Dolly Parton

What do you want people to know about your music?

Our music is always feel good, full of positive vibes and catchy enough to linger in your head longer than it should
