About me

“Just a small town girl – living in a lonely world.”

Concert tickets are practically essential. Musicals are the key to life.

This blog is about books, music, travel and other stuff. Most of it is fun. I’m a mom but not exactly a mommy blogger. It’s fine. My kids would starve if I didn’t read mommy blogs so we appreciate all of their work.

Please stop by again. I’ll be putting up new things because I like change. Except for furniture. I have almost never moved the furniture. If you visit, in 20 years, the furniture will probably be in the same spot.

Feel free to stop by with coffee. You can also send a tip to help out with the blog.

Thanks for visiting! If you see a post that you like, feel free to share. Comments are always welcome. πŸ™‚

Omg! I thought you were sort of only into serious stuff and music reviews, and then I saw…..a bunch of fantasy and comedy, including Undead Redhead?!
Well, my paranormal comedy Day for Night came out in 2016 and I just finished the sequel (not out yet). I know you’re busy and I saw the picture of all the books and papers surrounding you, but….gotta ask. Would you have any time in the future to review Day for Night?
Obviously no rush. I’m always whoring for reviews, which is one of the worst parts of writing today, so excuse my whoredom. I understand if you’re not interested and/or there’s no time. Also the worst self-marketer in the history of the world. But there. I asked. Also couldn’t find any private contact info, so……had to do it here out in the open. But I guess that’s okay. πŸ™‚

    1. Hey, I do like fantasy and comedy. πŸ™‚ Sorry, I thought I posted my email somewhere on here. It’s holley4734@gmail.com. I can definitely make time. It’s totally ok.

  31. Salsa!? Oh yes, I know I’m in the right spot now!

    1. Definitely! πŸ™‚

  32. Hi Holley! It’s nice to you! Thankyou for following and supporting my blog! I look forward to exploring yours, and getting to know you more!

  33. Hey! Your blog is great ✨ and I wanted to ask if you take any submissions for music reviews? Is therea nyway to contact you? 🌹

  34. I read every time people’s about-me-pages! Yours is great. Thank You. There is one thing which I wonder – Salsa. Why Salsa, why not Cumbia? The origins of Cumbia music are in Colombia. It has spread all over the western coast line of South America, Central America and some places in U.S.A. Cumbia is happy tropical danceable music. Its rhythm is distinct. Variety of instruments are great. Its style varies from country to country. Where is best Cumbia, I cannot say, because every country has β€œgems”. If you are not aware about Cumbia, I give here an example. Of, course one example is not the truth, but you can get an idea. Here:

    Example of Cumbia music

    Happy upcoming weekend!

    1. Thanks for the tip. I’ll have to check it out. πŸ™‚

  35. Your story on Frances Smith brought me here. I personally knew her and seen the night before she left to work. I thought about her and wondered if they ever caught who killed her. Thanks for posting about her. She was loved by many.

    1. Thank you so much for sharing such a lovely sentiment. Hope that her case is solved soon.
