About me

I laugh really loud. I also wear loud clothes. Writing, concerts, and photography are some of my favorites things. ( I do a Friday Favorite Video thing on BuzzFeed on a regular basis. Check it out! Holley’s Stuff on BuzzFeed )

Also, I try to do several bucket list goals every year.Β I didn’t do anything in 2016, except for work. Hopefully, 2017 and 2018 will be better. (2017 -not so good either. 2018 was slightly better.)

I’m still trying to figure out how to fit Salsa and scuba diving into my schedule and budget.

Please stop by again. I’ll be putting up new things because I like change. Except for furniture. I have almost never moved the furniture. If you visit, in 20 years, the furniture will probably be in the same spot.

I’ve gotten over my fear of the beauty salon and bad haircuts. It’s been about two years since I had boring hair. Also, I have bandanas in a variety of colors. I’m not trying to look cool. I’m trying to keep the hair out of my face.

Feel free to stop by with coffee.

Thanks for visiting! If you see a post that you like, feel free to share. Comments are always welcome. πŸ™‚

    • Wonderful! So nice to meet you! Glad to have you participate in the puzzle project. πŸ™‚ Love your blog. Will visit again. and again. Just to see the photography and the loud clothes. πŸ™‚

  1. You know the word loud, repeated twice in your intro, did snatch me out of a self-pity day. Thank you for being you. I’m also grateful that you are following my poetry/photography blog. πŸ™‚

  2. Thank you for following my blog. Reading a few of your posts…I like your sense of humour even when you discuss serious issues like depression. Some unique perspectives. Looking forward to following! πŸ™‚

  3. Hey Holly, nice to meet you. Your blog is awesome! And you have some truly stellar shots of musicians.
I know it’s been nearly two months since you pushed the follow button on our blog. Sorry it’s taken so long to get back to you. Anyway thanks so much for following. I hope you enjoy the stories of our journey. And don’t be a stranger – feel free to comment and join the conversation.
    Cheers,
    Alison

  4. Hi, just stopping by to say thanks for following my blog. I really appreciate it! Here’s to the little daydreamer in us all, dressed outrageously, and living their own life πŸ™‚

  5. Omg! I thought you were sort of only into serious stuff and music reviews, and then I saw…..a bunch of fantasy and comedy, including Undead Redhead?!
Well, my paranormal comedy Day for Night came out in 2016 and I just finished the sequel (not out yet). I know you’re busy and I saw the picture of all the books and papers surrounding you, but….gotta ask. Would you have any time in the future to review Day for Night?
Obviously no rush. I’m always whoring for reviews, which is one of the worst parts of writing today, so excuse my whoredom. I understand if you’re not interested and/or there’s no time. Also the worst self-marketer in the history of the world. But there. I asked. Also couldn’t find any private contact info, so……had to do it here out in the open. But I guess that’s okay. πŸ™‚

  6. Hey! Your blog is great ✨ and I wanted to ask if you take any submissions for music reviews? Is therea nyway to contact you? 🌹

  7. I read every time people’s about-me-pages! Yours is great. Thank You. There is one thing which I wonder – Salsa. Why Salsa, why not Cumbia? The origins of Cumbia music are in Colombia. It has spread all over the western coast line of South America, Central America and some places in U.S.A. Cumbia is happy tropical danceable music. Its rhythm is distinct. Variety of instruments are great. Its style varies from country to country. Where is best Cumbia, I cannot say, because every country has β€œgems”. If you are not aware about Cumbia, I give here an example. Of, course one example is not the truth, but you can get an idea. Here:

    Example of Cumbia music

    Happy upcoming weekend!
