Wadi Rum is known as the Valley of the Moon. Now that I have seen pictures, it is going on the destination bucket list.
How many of us have almost given up on traveling this summer? I made a haunted road trip itinerary for the Ohio and Pennsylvania area. The only thing that I didn’t add was Eastern State Penitentiary. It might be a on the next road trip list. I haven’t totally given up on actually going somewhere before school starts again.
What would you wear to Bora Bora. Lately, I have been watching clips of “Below Deck.” Apparently, the crew and guests travel to Bora Bora during season 6. I cannot even imagine how beautiful Bora Bora is. Maybe I will dream about it so much that it becomes a reality.
North Market is a public market close to the downtown area. It has so many vendors. You’ll find a variety of food and wine.
Short North Gallery Hop– 1st Saturday of every month.
The Gallery Hop was one of my favorite things to do in Columbus.
The Columbus Zoo is open year-round. If you get a chance to visit during the Christmas season, the lights at the zoo are awesome.
Coming Soon to Columbus:
The Ginger Rabbit – Jazz bar coming soon to Columbus.
The Galaxy Coffee – Columbus’s first LGBTQ coffee truck will be opening soon. For now, you can buy merch at their online store.
A few things I wish were still open:
Victorian’s Midnight Cafe – Favorite coffee shop. I think it was a laundromat at one time.
Barrister Hall – Jazz club. It was probably my favorite bar in Columbus.
Andy’s Tree House – Coolest bar.
Although it is extremely cold today, I am still hoping to travel to Iceland someday. It might not be today but someday. When I do go, I’d like to wear something similar to the fashion board posted above.
P.S. I’m still doing the travel agent thing on the side. So I’ve added this handy dandy questionnaire for anyone interested in taking a trip.
At this very moment, I might be at the Grand Canyon. If things don’t go as planned, then I will be in the garden. Either way, I’ll be wearing a Kansas City Royals shirt.

It’s almost vacation time. Everything is booked. Perk of being a travel agent = Really great deal for 4 people. Plus, booked a hotel with an amazing view from the pool.
Now I just need a swimsuit for the pool photo shoot.
So I might have to go camping this year. We didn’t go anywhere last year -like everyone else in the world. We can’t really go out of the country – except Iceland and Mexico- without quarantine restrictions. Maybe this is the year to visit the Grand Canyon and do a Route 66 trip.
I’ve been working on getting my travel agent certification. So this week, I finished my initial training and received my certificate.
It makes sense. When I was in 5th grade, my favorite project was studying maps and finding out how to get places. Today, I found an old travel journal from when I was in my 20s.
So here’s the link to my travel agent page: Destination Backstage in case anyone is interested in planning a trip.
