
How many of us have almost given up on traveling this summer? I made a haunted road trip itinerary for the Ohio and Pennsylvania area. The only thing that I didn’t add was Eastern State Penitentiary. It might be a on the next road trip list. I haven’t totally given up on actually going somewhere before school starts again.
- Detroit-Superior Bridge. Cleveland has an abandoned Subway. Occasionally, the city opens it for tours. Consult their page for more information.
- Spitzer House Bed & Breakfast
- The Haunted House Restaurant.
- Riders Inn
- Haunted Hill View Manor. It was formerly The Lawrence County Home for the Aged, a home for the poor, elderly and the mentally ill. It is open for tours.
- Century Inn. The Inn has hosted many famous guests and a few ghosts.
- Penn’s Cave. You could have a family-friendly trip and hear a ghost story. If you’re lucky, you might even take a tour with the ghost.
- Old Jail Museum. Who doesn’t love a haunted jail?
- Gettysburg National Military Park Museum and Visitor Center. Gettysburg has a lot of history and ghosts.
- Jennie Wade House. If you visit the website, you will find a value plan for tours of 3 historic attractions and a bus tour.
- Farnsworth Ghost Walks and Mourning Theater
