Am I meant to use this #SelfieStick?

Do you think you smile more honestly when you’re taking a selfie or when someone else is photographing you?

A Sekfie of My Selfie
A Selfie of My Selfie Stick

I definitely smile more honestly when someone else is taking the picture. More importantly, I smile in a timely fashion. My camera phone has a ton of pictures, in which I am smiling too late.

I thought if I had a selfie stick, some of my selfie timing would fixed.

So I received this selfie stick from 2Kamp Products. They are super nice people with access to a lot of selfie sticks, in case you want one or two.

For the past month, I’ve been thinking of all of the cool pictures that I could take with a selfie stick. Also, I wonder if I can get the stick past security at concerts or airports. I’m not sure if I want to take the chance. It would be an experience I guess.

The only problem is that I can’t figure this very simple device out. It is probably my phone’s fault. It doesn’t want to connect with the selfie stick. It’s being a snob I guess. For whatever reason, it thinks it’s too good for a stick. Maybe it’s jealous that I’ve found another device that I could love.

I’m sure that the super nice people over at  2Kamp Products are convinced that I’m technically challenged (AKA a total airhead). If you want to know more about selfie sticks, visit them at

So I’m really going to prove that I can work some selfie magic and make my phone have a meaningful connection with my selfie stick. As we speak, I’m charging the new device to get it ready for pairing and connecting. It sounds like I’m trying to get pandas to mate while in captivity. If I could get the selfie stick to work, I could get selfies of pandas, right?

* I received this selfie stick that I can’t figure out in exchange for doing a post. Again, I’m sure this is not what they had in mind. *

How many times did I say selfie stick? I think the total is 8 or 9.

I could be the worst cook in America. My boyfriend tells his friends about my cooking disasters. I'm glad someone is amused. I like movies, music, comic books and corny jokes.

    1. I think I can still use it. But I would have to manually do the self-timer. 🙂 Like they probably did in pioneer days and stuff. 😉 I just cannot get it to connect to my Bluetooth.
