Today you can write about anything, in whatever genre or form, but your post must mention a dark night, your fridge, and tears (of joy or sadness; your call). Feel free to switch one ingredient if you have to (or revisit one from previous trio prompts).
Early this morning – it still seemed like night- the power went off again.
When my boyfriend realized that all of his beer that he put in the fridge would not be so refreshing, I swear I saw a tear roll down his cheek. He really loves cold beer. His favorite place in the world is the beer cave at the grocery store. He could live there if there was a television, Wi-fi and a chair.
Tell us if you’re going to dress up tonight for Halloween. (And better yet, show us a picture of your costume!)
This is the costume that I made for Little Sister #2. She is very excited to be dressing up like Wonder Woman. She said I should be Wonder Woman’s mom for Halloween. So that is the plan for Comic Con tomorrow – she’ll be Wonder Woman and I will be Wonder Woman’s mom.
Excuse me while I go find some clothes worthy of a superhero’s mother.
I made two Wonder Woman decals. Accidentily on purpose. 😉
October Photo A Day 2014: Laura Blythman designs the list!
I guess if you want to know some things about me, here is a list for you.
1. I was born in Tennessee.
2. My first concert as a teenager was Michael Bolton. I have no words. Try not to judge me. I did see Pearl Bailey when I was a young kid. That should count for something, right?
3. I used to read in the car all of the time but now I get car sick.
4. My name has been changed twice but I was only married once. Even my middle name has been changed. Some people think it’s funny that I’ve had so many names.
5. I used to be allergic to oranges and coconut. Those were hard times. Why couldn’t I be allergic to something awful like sauerkraut?
When I was a kid, my favorite Halloween costume was Holly Hobbie. It was not as awesome as some of these dresses. It was a plastic dress and a plastic mask. Those were dreadful times for Halloween.
If I was going to do it over, I would wear a dress with an apron, a bonnet and brown boots. It would be so simple.
I’m almost done with the costume for Little Sister #2. The skirt is mostly finished. Tomorrow I will be working on the crown and wristbands.
